Title: AN ACT CONCERNING ELECTRICAL CODE OF PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY for the purpose of updating the enforcement provisions of the Electrical Code to provide for administrative adjudication of appeals from notices of violation, additional civil and criminal penalties for violations, and the issuance of citations for violations, as well as provisions to prevent the transfer of properties that have existing violations.

Title

AN ACT CONCERNING ELECTRICAL CODE OF PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY for the purpose of updating the enforcement provisions of the Electrical Code to provide for administrative adjudication of appeals from notices of violation, additional civil and criminal penalties for violations, and the issuance of citations for violations, as well as provisions to prevent the transfer of properties that have existing violations.

 

Background

The purpose of this Bill adds enforcement provisions that were not included in the Electrical Code (Subtitle 11).  The enforcement provisions are consistent with Subtitle 4 and Subtitle 13.
