Title

A RESOLUTION CONCERNING COUNTY COUNCIL RULES OF PROCEDURE for the purpose of amending Rules of Procedure for the County Council to require the Council to hold at least one regular meeting each month during evening hours.

 

Background

This resolution will amend the Prince George’s County Council Rules of Procedure to require that at least one regular County Council meeting each month be held during evening hours. Under the proposed amendment, one or more regularly scheduled legislative sessions or business meetings must begin at a time later than 5:00 p.m. local time.
